egg salad at 7-11
so, i took my sous chef on a culinary tour wednesday in the midst of looking for a new restaurant location. the highlights were the egg salad sandwich at 7-11, and the spicy chicken sandwich at chick-fil-a. if you decide to try these for yourself, then some instruction is necessary. for the egg salad sandwich, remove the sandwich for the prepared refrigerated rack, (usually located beyond the cashier counter.) take the sandwich over to the nacho bar. remove the sandwich from the wrapper, and add pickled jalapenos. (don’t forget to grap some napkins, as well.) then proceed to chick-fil-a, and order a spicy chicken sandwich with extra pickles, and a side order of cole slaw. place some of the coleslaw on the sandwich. we agreed that these were both exceptional lunch choices for on-the-road dining.
That lunch sounded like a knockout. I’ll take all my chef instructors and students there and give it a shot.
