Chicago…the NRA show and Burt to boot!

Well I can’t remember when I was in a bar at 2am, let alone 4am…OK, my age MAY have a little to do with that!  We were there for the National Restaurant Association convention.  10 miles of aisles…equipment, china, sushi, polish sausage, …  What stands out most for me was the visit to Burt’s Place.  Just a $75 cab ride to this obscure space in Morton Grove where Burt and his wife Sharon exclusively run this small pizzeria that boast the likes of Anthony Bourdain and a steady line of regulars who greet Sharon by name as they enter.
